We are incredibly pleased to finally be able to announce that ICCMI is taking its long-awaited journey to the centre of the Aegean Sea and the Cycladic islands. The landmark 10th ICCMI 2022 will be held between the 8th and 10th of July 2022 on the ancient and extremely beautiful island of Naxos.

Naxos is in the centre of the Aegean Sea and among other islands is the birthplace of the first ever civilization on European soil, the Cycladic Civilization. Naxos is remarkably close to Paros and Mykonos, is also easily accessible from Athens by boat or plane and can serve as a starting point of a quest to explore all the Cycladic islands. It has sandy beaches, a variety of picturesque villages, archaeological sites, and exquisite cuisine.

This year the Conference is co-organized by the Department of Business Administration, School of Economics, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece and the Chair of International Business, Department of Marketing and International Business, University of Vienna, Austria.

Professor Christina Boutsouki of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece and Professor Emmanuella Plakoyiannaki of the University of Vienna, Austria will serve as Conference co-Chairs alongside Professor Emeritus Christos Sarmaniotis, the founder of ICCMI.

We are very pleased to announce that Professor George Balabanis, will serve as the Keynote Speaker in the 10th ICCMI.

George Balabanis is a professor of marketing at Bayes Business School (formerly Cass) of the City University of London, UK. His research focuses on the areas of luxury brands, international marketing strategy, cross-cultural consumer behavior, social media and consumer privacy.  He has published in outlets such as the Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, International Journal of Marketing Research, Journal of International Marketing, Long Range Planning, Journal of Business Research, British Journal of Management, Journal of Business Ethics, International Marketing Review, European Journal of Marketing, Journal of Consumer Affairs, Psychology and Marketing, etc.

Following the success of the previous 9 conferences, among them two virtual ones, ICCMI 2022 is returning to its physical surroundings and aspires to continue on the same tradition of bringing together academics and practitioners from around the world who discuss, argue and engage in knowledge transfer in the field of Marketing and other related fields. Publication opportunities

All accepted manuscripts will be included in the Conference proceedings(with ISBN number). Moreover, authors of selected, high quality, Conference papers will have the opportunity to submit and publish their papers (in an extended and modified version) in special issues of prestigious journals according to the calls for papers. So far, special issues have been agreed with the journals below.
